Along the Waalweg path of Schenna - a walk for the entire family
A WONDERFUL CIRCULAR WALD IN THE COMPANY OF WATER
This Waalweg path starts and ends in Verdins and is an ideal walk for families. This flat and shady path that leads along the ancient watercourse offers a breathtaking view of the landscape. The relatively short tour takes up to 2.5 h and leads from the church in Verdins to the Waalweg path in Schenna. On this idyllic walk you will follow the path northwards surrounded by woods to the Waaler hut. At the beginning the route leads you back to the Waalweg path to the Hasenegg. After 300 meters you have to turn right on the Wiesersteig to Verdins. The path starts in Merano and leads in the direction of Schenna to the parking space in Verdins. The 6 km long walk is very easy and a refreshing adventure for a family trip. A lot of fun is guaranteed. The presence of nature, the unspoiled landscape and the refreshing waters are a beneficial experience for everyone.
